do u remember how happy i used to be every time i saw you pull into the drive way?
do u remember how my eyes would light up whenever i saw the present that was wrapped in the comics?
do you remember making plans weeks in advance, and getting up early on a saturday morning, to go to breakfast?
do you remember the stuffed animal shop near the place we would get breakfast, and the 5 for $1 sale they had?
do you remember the 5 stuffed animals i picked out?
Do u remember walking through the front part of the store with me, and letting me pick out
a candy lipstick to have for later, even when mom and dad said i shouldn't have candy in the morning.
Do u remember when that place closed down, so we picked another place,
and how some how, i'd always still end up with a candy lipstick.
Do u remember how happy i was to see you that first year i was in Florida, and i went back with grammy and grampa to NH. and u drove all the way to tamworth to visit me and to get me an ice cream, which i promptly got all over my shirt ,that we laughed about as i tried to clean the stain with old wetnaps from your car?
Do you remember how sad i was to see you go? Do you remember all the pain you went through
that you hid from us, to spare us?
Do you remember my worried face? Could you see in my eyes how terrified I was to lose you?
Do you remember the picture we took together, and the fake smile both you and I shared?
Do you remember me leaving, and swearing I'd be back for you?
Do you remember leaving me forever weeks later?
Do you remember the tears I shed for days on end, and the depression I went into?
Do you remember the poem I wrote for you back some four years ago?
Do you remember the candy lipstick I had dad give u before you were burried?
Do you remember how much you meant to me?
Do you remember how you were my angel, my everyhting?
and that above anything else, seeing grandpa sullivan was the most imporant thing in the world
with your big blonde mustache that hid the playful smile that will forever stay with me.

i love you grandpa and I always have and if there was one thing in the world i could change forever
you would be here with me now and i'd still have that presant covered in the comics
i'd still have a candy lipstick at breakfast
A pancake the size of my plate would stilll look appetizsing
i'd still feel like the most important person in the world,
and when i would look at you i'd still know it was true.
i wouldn't be affected by this highschool bullshit ever
i would have one of the only people i ever knew loved my brother and I over any one and every one else.
because when faced with the facts it was true he didn't choose some one else over me ever
i was his Chelse, and he was my grandpa
and i miss him every day of my life so bad
